The sessions conducted so far have been truly exemplary!

Over these three sessions, I personally have grown to learn something so crucial; underprivileged people are also living breathing people. I have learnt that they need something much much greater than food aid or financial support. They need us to perceive them as a friend and not someone in need. They are people who have never coloured, who have never drawn, who haven’t experienced the joys of activities we have grown up doing. Through NMS GirlUp I have had the opportunity to grow and bond with such remarkable women and makes me feel honoured to bring a smile on someone’s face. – Lakshita Nathawat
